Welcome to 2018. It\u2019s a new year, a clean slate and a fresh start.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s make this year your cleanest and happiest yet. Living in a sparkling, organized home is a great first step. We\u2019re limiting our list to three resolutions, to keep things simple and manageable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resolution #1: Establish a routine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes we avoid cleaning because it feels like a big job \u2013 overwhelming. Of course, the longer we wait, the dirtier the house gets and the bigger the job becomes. Establish a manageable routine that you\u2019ll stick to. Decide what has to happen every day, every week and every month &#8211; and then make it happen. The key is to ensure that you don\u2019t try to do too much and then get discouraged when you can\u2019t stick to the plan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resolution #2: Clear out the clutter!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Go room by room with an objective eye. What can be thrown out? What needs to find a new home? And most important, do you have the storage you need? Commit to doing a house-wide purge at least once a quarter where you ruthlessly weed out the stuff you don\u2019t need\u00a0and invest in storage solutions that allow you to stay on top of the rest. Your house will be neater and easier to clean, and you\u2019ll be less stressed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resolution #3: Use your multipurpose cleaner more<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Save time in the kitchen and bathroom by pre-treating counters and other surfaces with a multi-purpose cleaner.
