Cleaning-Focused Appreciation for Teachers

During National Teacher Appreciation Week, celebrated during the first full week of May, the goal is to show teachers how much they’re honored and valued. One way is by giving the gift of clean, especially at a time in the school year when supplies tend to run low.

  • When supplies like hand wipes, hand sanitizer and tissues don’t come out of the school budget, many teachers personally absorb the cost. Offer to restock to finish the school year.
  • Create a customized gift basket with classroom-friendly items like bulletin-board borders, sticky notepads, novelty pens and erasers, disinfecting wipes, hand wipes, stickers, washable markers and glue sticks.
  • It’s a lot of work to take down a classroom at the end of the year and that time is fast approaching. Consider helping with this task to close out the school year.

Teachers play a vital role in maintaining a healthy, clean learning environment, ensuring students can thrive both academically and physically throughout the school year. Let’s show them some appreciation!
